11- Circulation vs. Readership
(a) The circulation is no of newspaper copy distributed on an average day, but readership is much higher, because a newspaper copy will read a number of peoples, circulate the same copy of multiple numbers in a family or in office. The rate is generally about 2.5.
For example, in city the circulation is 25000; total readership is 25000*2.5= 62500.
